Home Sweet Home

A couple of weeks ago I took a trip home to visit my new niece. Who is beautiful and perfect and it was very hard to leave her. Sniff sniff.
It had also been a while since I was back home so I took the opportunity to capture it with my little mini diana. I love the square mode on it, the pics always look cute so this is what I set it on...although you will see that the format changed somehow...who knows why?! Wasn't like it fell off my shoulder or anything, eh hem. Thankfully the results turned out ok...hooray!

In the summertime...

...when the weather is, erm not fine. Summer is known for being hotter but in HK it is also wetter. With Typhoon warnings and the likes it is better to carry an umbrella at all times(it also means the odds of being poked in the eye with one increase) . I managed to capture some moody looking wet weather pics this week...using my dinky diana... no effects here just the gloom of grey skies and torrential rain.

Amelia's Art Jam-a-lam Birthday

Happy Birthday!

Hong Kong is the land of birthdays, not a week goes by without someone turning another year older (or so it seems). The usual 'drink' is had in celebration for most but when it comes to close friends more fun takes place. And there couldn't have been more fun than last weeks epic 'art jam' for Amelia...new talents were born, many paintings were created - some layered on the same canvas - wine, beer and paint was involved in most if not all the art works and I am sure there was more paint on me than there was on my canvas but I put that down to artistic flow...eh hem.

All n' all it was a extremely creative evening and ofcourse the evening wouldn't be complete without a round of DPs...
