Alice through the Diana glass

You may remember my post about the bunting and cakes I made for a tea party I was going to (can be found here) well, I took along my Diana CMYK and these are the crazy double, triple maybe even quadruple exposure shots that I got back the other day.

see the little faces?

The highlight of the party was definitely the egg and spoon race...I was clearly robbed of a win I tell you! Victoria Peak Gardens were a little eerie that day as there was some low cloud creating a very mystical atmosphere especially when the sun started to go down. We weren't spooked though as we managed to scoff all the cakes, drink punch from tea cups and play games.
All in all the party was a success.
Hooray!

Alice vs The White Rabbit...

Can't wait for my next themed party....ideas?

Gift Idea...

For Christmas last year I turned my adventures of 2011 into a book, a photo book to be more precise. To decide on the size and shape of book, I looked no further than the square photographs of my Diana camera. We'd been on many an adventure together last year and the products of said adventures were included in the book:

  • cambodia
  • india
  • philippines
  • hong kong - ofcourse
  • la and san fran - where the obsession with Diana started.
I used the blurb website to create mine, it was easy to use and I was able to adapt the layout to what I wanted. Pretty simple really. Once I finished I uploaded it to the website and within a week I had my published book. Exciting! The family loved receiving them too, a great gift for any occasion.
Infact I may even have an idea for my next one...

Malau Montain...

Hong Kong is a vibrant and fast paced city. What people don't know is that 70% of Hong Kong is green, open space.
Not so long ago I bought a trusty HK hiking book which gives you knowledge of the open spaces HK has to offer, one such place is Monkey Mountain. After much hiking I thought all was at loss when the supposed monkeys were no where to be found, but fear not the mischievous monkeys were just around the corner...

Going, Going, Goa

VM:HK went VM:GOA at the begining of April.
It was a short trip to catch up with some old friends and to see what had been promised as an amazing place to visit.
Armed with my new CYMK Diana and trusty IPhone I managed to capture the memories I will have of the beautiful places and people of Goa, India.
