Year of the Rabbit...

Happy Year of the Rabbit!
And what a new year I had.
I used the opportunity of the long holiday to go adventuring to the temples of Angkor in Cambodia. Due to CNY prices we had to fly to Bangkok and start our adventure from the Mo Chit bus station. Scared? Me? No!
Sure the bus journey to the border between Thailand and Cambodia was long but the Thai countryside managed to distract my attention away from my numb bum cheek.
Once in Cambodia it was obviously that road safety was not a priority for the people. Minutes into our cab ride towards Siem Reap we saw a woman in the boot of a car, it didn't look very comfortable or safe.

Once in Siem Reap it was time to have a beer and decide on the temples that we would explore. Over the course of the next 3 days we would see the sunset and rise at Angkor Wat, take a tuk tuk to Angkor Thom and Ta Prohm and test the cooling system of Johnny's poor scooter on a 2 hour journey into the countryside to see Beng Mea Lea. As well as taking a boat to see the floating village on Tonle Sap Lake.
